help setting up access point please

If you are talking about entering 192.168.11.1 into your browser and 192.168.11.100 when it is set to access point mode, that it the IP address required to talk to the device, not Buffalo's website.

You need to configure them separately using the Ethernet cable and then move on to using the wireless.

ok i have internet access on the first router i'm trying to go from scratch
so have got uo to internet connection is successful but i cant seem to get past that
i'm on page 18 of the setup wizard and when it tries to connect to the airstation it says it has failed

If you follow the steps in the Configuring WDS Guide, downloadable here, we can see what stage you're at if you get stuck and then try to help. Remember to connect everything with Ethernet cable to make the configuration easier.

well igot to the last bit but lost conection said i cant have two users so had to reboot and now

somehow cant get onto buffalos config site
192.168.11.1

ive tried pinging 192.168.11.1
but it says timed out

Disable wireless encryption on both devices if you have enabled it and follow the troubleshooting section in the guide.
