i've had one of these for a few months now and has been really good although it hasnt been able to be wireless as far as i wanted to.
http://www.buffalotech.com/products/wireless/wireless-g-mimo-performance/wireless-g-mimo-performance-broadband-router-and-access-point-with-high-gain-antenna

so i wanted to create an access point for extended coverage
i ordered another one becuae it is an access point also
having recieved it and clicking on connections it does say full coverage so the laptop does recognise it
but it doesnt recognise to connect
ive switched the button to bridge but it still doesnt want to connect
any advice please?
many thanks

Sounds like an encryption problem, have you set up the wireless encryption?

Well you need to sort out the wireless encryption as without it others can access your network. See the user manual for details.

Using an Ethernet cable? If using it in access point mode, the IP is 192.168.11.100

You need to configure each separately as per page 43 of the user manual. i.e. the encryption key for each needs to be identical.
