it was a thank you pressie as
early today i gave her a box full of glitchy items bodyshop/ achica biscuits and sweets cola from all the recent glitches as she can not afford presents for people as since being left homeless / single and pregnant she has a lot of money problems, without food her bills have been over £100 more than her income each month:eek: and she will not sign on like everyone tells her to as she wonts to go back to work.. tax credits now baby born will help
she was so gratefull for the box and was crying, as she can give something to her sister and best friend who have helped her so much and others,, i told her it was down to the elite and she asked if i could thank each and every one for all you do as you can not image how all the food etc and now pressies have helped her through this awful time :A she is very grateful
its hard to explain how much of a difference the elite makes to peoples lifes :A:A:A:A:A:A:A

Fresh out of the oven, chocolate still warm:)
Simple to make, too, only 5 ingredients, including Jus-Rol puff pastry and Lidl 22p chocolate. Total cost about £1.40:)

Thanks for this, it's why I suggested Carrot & Swede vs T at N/A.
Though, really, us on here could have 1kg Carrots for 39p from Lidl and Parsnips pack also 39p from same place. Swede, parsnips, it'll do the same!
Thanks Sal for the Flora Buttery show - I managed to thank you and then I got kicked offline again:(. Now I see it didn't take my thanks after all - so I've clicked the 'thanks' button again. I doubt there will be any trigger available to use with the £1.70 Flora (part 2 for £3) - for me it's ICBINB 1kg Avs T £1.50. That's if I didn't already have enough spread!!:)
I don't know off hand if that Garden Side Salad is a filler vs M or vs others as well, or if it's worth it. Maybe an okay item?0 -

Well done to your DD Rhos. She sounds like a well brought up young lady. Somehow I think although she's struggling now, she has values that will see her go far. You must be proud of her
Im jealous of her whoopsies:rotfl:

MILLYMOLLY wrote: »Hi can you tell me how to make them please
1. roll out puff pastry to a rectangle about 16" by 8"
2, spread approx 50g chocolate & hazelnut spread (I used Mr T own brand, about half a jar) all over the pastry.
3. scatter over approx 50g chopped hazelnuts (about a good handful ... I am a man-cook after all))
4. roll up one long side of the pastry to centre, then roll up the other side to the centre; where the edges meet, dampen them with a little water or beaten egg so they stick together.
5. with a sharp knife, cut into 2cm (1inch) slices, flatten them slightly on the top, give them a good coating of beaten egg for a golden finish, and sprinkle with caster sugar.
6. Place well spaced out on a baking treay, and bake in a preheated oven (Gas Mark 7), for 10-15 minutes, or until golden.
7. Allow to cool, then melt approx 100g of chocolate (Lidl, 22p \ bar) and dip one end into the melted chocolate.
