Wrapped the last pressies earlier as well - normally like a woman possessed on Christmas eve but managed to get myself a bit organised this year :D:T

No Puff Pastry needed. Take one Pandoro cake (whih is star shaped) cut horizontally and then rebuild twisting every other slice, so the points stick out like an xmas tree. Put a dollop of buttercream on every point. Take some cadbury wishes stars and Malteasers and spray with edible gold spray. Stick one or other on every point and on the top too.
Sprinkle with the vanilla sugar that comes with cake.
    cost about 4.50.
Thanks I'm going to try this looks yummy and I think grandkids will love it

The kids did enjoy doing it, especially spraying the chocs gold.

Just be warned that I got my Pandoro cheap cheap, T's Finest are £7 currently, although I am sure one T's I was in Yesterday had some for £2, the one I went in today did not.

Took that one round to a Friends house for tea today, making another one for other friends tomorrow and have a third one to do for us at home as well. Just hoping the gold spray lasts!
