Am I the only person here who emailed praising McCains and just got a thank you email and no discounts :(

I got a thank you email too and they said keep an eye on their website as they sometimes have a 50p off coupon off a certain product.

Interview is tomorrow but I am without voice again after a whole day's worth of coughing. Looks like I will just have to email and see if they can change the date. If not, will be majorly p***ed off after all the swotting I have done. Boohiss.

Hope everyone else is OK and that you all had a lovely day. :)

Is this a circular document displayed on your windscreen saying 'tax in post' a la Derek Trotter? :rotfl:
    Thanks for explaining this!:T:T
Do you know, I've been sort-of following the Jus-Rol discussion but not really worked all that out for myself - I'm such a noob:o.

But that situation has now been rectified:)

and I am currently in advanced negotiations for the loan of some freezer space (I only have a fridge-freezer so not much room:().

While I was making my purchases, two different people came up to buy the BOGOF pastry, and only took one packet; I told them both it was buy-one-get-one-free, the first was thankful, the second just looked at me and still took just the one packet - what is it with some people?

    They're just buffoons :)

    PS Nice pastry stash :T

    Happy Birthday Vouchercrazy :j

I managed to pick up a few more chocolate eyes today, in Spytty this time - thought they would have been long gone. I left 1/2 a dozen on the shelf aswell.

I put them through with my normal shopping - I'd had enough by then & couldn't be azzed to faff about with SS - the SA noticed as she scanned the 1st one and said ''Ooh they're only 1p  ''

''I know'' said I, ''they're in the RTC section, I imagine they must be getting rid of the old halloween stock'' ;)

''Ooh lovely'' she said, and merrily scanned away.

Would the food banks be interested in these do you think? They're well in date.

Nope! It is a bit scary, but I've been away with work, I arrived home about an hour ago, and have three days to do Christmas! Work on Monday, then off till Friday!

I think I will just get drunk and forget about everything I have not done.

I was thinking of your clean windows yesterday with a hint of jealousy and wonderment, my last thought was god I hope she did not clean them just before shutdown... what a waste xxx

Hope you're ready for Christmas bubbs xxxx
