Well I got a nice joint of beef and a new jumper with my expiring APGs so I am glad I went. I got the Rump Joint, has anyone tried cutting this into steaks and grilling please? I prefer steaks to a joint, so this would be better for me

Done. What a lovely daughter you have there :D

Sorry to hear this Lou, sounds really painful :(:(

I have been buying the rump joints , I have cut it up into steaks and it is gorgeous , also diced some for a lovely stew and may do braising steak this weekend.
It really is good quality for the price ,might have to go back for more.
Not much fat on it but I do trim it off as I hate fat but with 2 german shepherds drooling beside me nothing goes to waste.

    Hi 3 dogs,

I would give the beef a go...you've got nothing to lose. Try oiling it and seasoning it for a while before you cook it if you are unsure.
I cut mine in half before I froze it and will probably cook one as a joint for hot beef buns and will do a beef in red wine for the other one:)

I struggle with the reality tv shows thingymebobs... indeed I would rather stick pins in my eyes then watch them!

    :D:D:D:D

Me too, can't understand how anyone could watch them, mind you with pins in my eyes might be a bit difficult:rotfl:

  • I got chatting to a nice girl in mr t yesterday. Poor thing was stuck behind me and mum buying giftcards. She has a cafe so not much time to read forum but was going to do all her stock shopping via mr t gift cards from now on for the 150pts for £50 spend as she uses points for kids clothes and spends over £50 a day.
Felt nice being able to offer simple information in a useful way.
Sa didn't know about the 150pts for £50 on cards eitherand she was a supervisor! Was very nice and I noticed 4 green clubcard points had been added even though we only used on bag.

Very quiet tonight no dm, fc, david or tinyshoes. The girls did say they would be absent tonight but the boys didn't.

Will be staying up super late to make tomorrows currys giftlists as trying to do them at times site will be quiet to see if I can get a win.
