The Carex is £1.78, 2 for £2 in A at the moment. Is there only one on the receipt or did they buy two and one is missing on the apg? If they did buy two, which flavours are they?
I only ask as several are 90p in S and a couple are 85p in T so this might have some potential.

She died nearly 31 years ago but I guess nothing can ever fill that gap. Anyway, they just played her favourite Christmas song, an unavoidable one (White Christmas) and I burst into tears! Now I understand why I am feeling a bit low I can get through it, but she never met my kids or my grandson and I really wish she had at least managed that.
Anyway, I am not after sympathy, it was a long time ago and I should be well over it, but those of you with mums still around, whether sick or otherwise, treasure them and give them a hug, you never know what is around the corner
Thank you for letting me get that off my chest

Good morning everyone
I'm procrastinating todayThe older I get, the less enthusiastic I am about wrapping presents.
I've had a great system this year which has worked well, I can't believe I haven't thought of it before.
I have a stash of wrapping paper, tags, sellotape etc concealed under a sofa, and every present that comes through the door gets wrapped and labelled before it goes upstairs and goes in the relevant sack. Takes two minutes at a time and avoids the day long marathons I've had to do in the past. It works for me.
PS and I stick to the same colours every year and saved all the sparkly tags I'd written for DH and DD last year, saved me rewriting quite a few and was green and MSE.Hope is not a strategy.0 -

We will be having home made profiteroles and pavlova as well as the usual (made by mum as I am rubbish at cooking)

Hugs, double hugs and triple hugs to all that need them.
Was talking to a colleague today (voice almost back, hurrah!). His daughter graduated and he was telling me a couple came to pick up their son's degree certificate posthumously. The poor lad was only 22 and all.:(:(

In Primark yesterday they had Xmas crackers behind the tills reduced from £6 to £3 for 8. From the look of the pictures on the back they seem to have much better contents than most of the £5 for 12 ones I've seen in most of the supermarkets. HTH0

Do not get me started, I have no stop value whatsoever, my main party trick is to suddenly burst into tears for very little reason, its like trying to keep the tide back. Its not even if I can have a good howl, get it out of my system and then I am fine ...
I lost my dad at the end of September and my mum went suddenly in her sleep 10 years ago at the end of October.
If you look at the lyrics for New York fairy tale the words are terrible but that one has me in floods every single time.
Anyway back to keeping frantically busy so I don't have time to dwell ..
Have a hug mhoc. I've been missing my mum recently, and DH has his first Christmas without his dad to come this year. We're all in it together my love. x
Let's be thankful for what we have now and remember lives lived, not the passing of them. It's how we'd all want to be remembered by our own dear ones. After recent events I'm hugely grateful and humble to have my own dear one still with me this Christmas.Hope is not a strategy.0
