Second attempt at home-made (ready roll pastry and cheap mincemeat;) ) mince pies went much better. Followed suggestion and added a little bit of brandy. Little egg wash on top, lovely.Debt free 6th December 2014

Just listening to the radio about the MK winter wonderland... I have tickets for sat (paid to see father Xmas etc). Turns out its a joke, quite funny listening to it but shame for people who went with their little ones... Wonder if I can get my money back
Two elves were fighting and Santa was smoking apparently .......
I'm so late but finally got 2nd Xmas cake in the oven

Showing on T's as "half price", yet it's still full price. MSM shows full price, anybody happen to be popping into a T's and fancies taking a look at what the SEL is?
Just looked in Carlisle sel 8.85 don't know what scans at as don't drink coffee0 -

This might sound mad but if you get a half pack of philly cheese or similar, lemon zest and about 3tbs sugar and beat it all together and add a teaspoon of it to the top of your mincemeat before you top with pastry it makes a delicious slightly different wee mince pie. Orange zest is good too, more delicious calories lol !
Thats it I am having a mince pie right now, from a packet but yum!0 -

Went for a nice walk earlier, delivered a few cards, spent a fortune on stamps, relieved T of some loo roll. On the whole I am feeling a whole lot better than I did earlier.
There is an awful lot of people with a gap in their lives, big hugs to everyone.
Or one of these Xmas stockings in the pound shops. Some have snowmen, father Xmas etc on them. Cut it out and sew it on a jumper or sweatshirt.
I bought my hubby 2 Xmas stockings from Poundland last week to wear in his Wellies. Note they did look like socks but bigger but suited him as he can't be doing with tight socks. They were red and white in this Nordic design. I m sure you ve all seen them:xmastree:

Decisions, decisions...
DD got some conditional spends through today, the one for this week is £9 off £60, now the question is do I use it along with the last of my Nouvelles today?! Would mean I would need to get my serious planning head on and actually have to go outside  :rotfl:
I'm sure I've still got some CC vouchers as well... I'll decide after dinner!
Oh, afternoon all...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
PRIDE
There's a fork in the road, which way will you go
You standing still or will you step into the great unknown,
Is yours to decide, this is your life.
