  • Thanks, I've just located some sequin snow flakes in our craft box, so may resort to using those :)

They sound lovely:D Just one other thing I forgot to mention though, it is a good idea to put something on the inside of the jumper to stitch through - it makes it easier to undo the stitching after Christmas:)

Afternoon everyone, just been lurking 'and voting' lately, but hello and hugs to the many that seem to need them lately. I'm still not feeling up to doing much but at least my neurology appointment got me somewhere last week.... Now waiting for report to gp so I can get some medication to be going on with, although I wish I didn't have to try it as I just know i'm going to suffer side effects.... then further tests. But I just can't carry on with this pain! :(

Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well. Went to Manchester for the weekend and visited parents and the Xmas market. Was lovely.

Just listening to the radio about the MK winter wonderland... I have tickets for sat (paid to see father Xmas etc). Turns out its a joke, quite funny listening to it but shame for people who went with their little ones... Wonder if I can get my money back :o
Two elves were fighting and Santa was smoking apparently .......

I'm so late but finally got 2nd Xmas cake in the oven

TW - this has been all over our local news, guy who organised it said everyone will get full refunds, although i'd get in there quick, I can see him having to go bankrupt because he didn't look like he had much to start with, and this has bound to have caused him a lot of expense, so i'm sure EVERYONE getting a refund WILL put him well out of pocket, and he may not be able to fulfill that promise..... The footage of this so called 'winter wonderland' look dire. I tried to see if I could put a link to bbc look east on iplayer but it says not available, so I youtubed it and found this, which is just someone filming their telly!

I've missed a lot of vouchers lately, hardly ever get the T's mags so don't bother going there much so no dairy stuff. :o They must know i've not been as i've just been sent a £4 and 2 £3's off in the post. Have a AvS shop to do later, if I get it done will post results tonight, but just now I must try to get a few chrimbo lights up as not even done that yet!!!

I think if you buy 2 msl would give you 50% of £2.10 = £1.05 and you'd lose 80p on the PP instead of gaining £1.70.

I got stung yesterday and only got £1.05 but this is because I'd added 2 within my MSL shopping list. So I think if you make sure your MSL is showing only 1, even though there may be 2 on your actual receipt, you'll get the full half price of £2.10.

I bought this in Ts at the weekend - bought 2 on offer BOGOF, paid £4.20 and got back 50% cashback on the £4.20 = £2.20, so 18 cans for £2.20 :j ... not that I need anymore Diet Coke after last week in As :p

    :rotfl:

    x

    8+8-16 ;)

    And £2.20? Shouldn't that be £2.10?

Did you not use a 50p MOC? (or two) :money: You could have got them for £1.10 :p

Yup. I always do this. They have never adjusted my cashback, always paid what the app calculates ;)

Just noticed on the app that it says 1 use per user not per shop for the celebrations, heroes, coke and tco.... I'm sure it didn't say that yesterday.....
