November would be an excellent time, the weather has settled and there are very few crowds anywhere. Prices begin to rise to their peak in mid December, go crazy over Christmas and then stay high until Easter.

Great time of year to go.
Don't be in too much of a hurry to book up next year as there are ALWAYS deals around late summer.
We got a great deal in Barbados again this year with

We are going to Cancun next week, and it was the cheapest week of the year (cheaper than November..). We booked mid-summer.

Thanks Tom.. about the advice to book late summer, might try that in the future.
  • We were debating whether to book a hoiliday in the Caribbean in either March 2015 or November next year. Looking at statistics the month of November looks to have an above average rainfall. We are not sure that applies to all the Caribbean islands. The disadvantage with March is many of the resorts are inundated with America student during their Spring break. The weather in March looks slighly better than November whilst November is slighly cheaper, but not considerable so. we are still considering our options. Any further information/feedbackon this issue will be appreciated.

The weather in Barbados is pretty much the same all the year round.During the wet season you can have some fairly heavy rain but it tends to be late afternoon and not last very long.It can be a welcome respite from the humidity.
As a fairly regular Barbados holidaymaker I've always had consistently cheaper deals in November and always booked them in late August.
Our last deal was sensational - around a grand each for ten nights AI plus 800 dollars in Barbados Tourist Authority Vouchers which we spent on three very good meals in high-end restaurants.
The tourist industry has gone down the pan in the Caribbean and there are some spectacularly good deals to be had.
  • At the moment prices do not appear to be cheap in November. the main problem with the cost is the flights, as to both Antigua and Barbaos to my knowledge the only airlines flying from London direct to these destintions are British Airways and Virgin. The price of the flight normally rises the nearer you get to the departure. The hotel prices may come down nearer the time, but not the cost of the flights, unless someone has some other informaton on ths subject.

Went on a Caribbean cruise a few years ago in November.

The weather was generally sunny and hot, but some days had some heavy showers. But the rain soon passed - and while it rained at least it was still hot

I'd certainly pick November again for this region

Hi, I went to Barbados last year (3rd week of November) and just back from Antigua this year (last week of Nov). Weather was fine on both hols, showers but they are over in 10min. Absolutely fine time to go from holiday point of view. My top tip: take your currency in American dollars (especially if you choose Antigua - they seem to prefer it).
  • So when is the best time to book to get a good deal for an "All Inclusive" holiday in November to either Antigua or Barbados. Is it best to wait until British Airways or Virgin have a seat sale promotion. Surely any smaller holiday company like Tropical Sky, Caribbean Warehouse or Holiday Place etc.are tied into the flight price at the time of booking.
  • Like others have said monthly average temperatures are broadly the same all year round, the best is look at the HUMIDITY levels and be sure to avoid the hurricane season (July- September)
