Small xmas gift for partners mum

My DH decided to give my parents a clock the first Christmas we were together, for some reason. I'd go for a bottle of wine or bucks fizz and chocs. Some toiletry sets are nice too.

I'd appreciate bath stuff, flowers can be dodgy, often disappointing for the money they cost. A small set of bath and shower smellies would be nice.
I give to my daughters bfs and get a little present in return. That's nice.

If she is a dog lover, she will probably melt if you bring her lots of treats for the dogs, and a smaller gift for her. I am a huge dog fan, and if someone did that for my dogs, I would really really love them for it!

For extra brownie points you could always take a photo of her lovely daughter and put it in a nice frame

Hyacinths in a basket from M&S was a small gift that I got my mother in law to be early on in our relationship, went down very well.
