They should be ashamed of themselves. It bugs me too. Ebay should not allow this.

Well there's a difference really.Mums or dads who originally rang to get free tickets then find they can't go right? They offer them out like loads of us have because, well,it's the right thing to do.Because we know that if we'd missed out but our kids wanted to go a nice gesture from a stranger could make their day:D .

But then you get people with NO intention of going, that ring purely to get tickets to sell on.They were never ever going to go just wanted to make ££s from others.Makes me so mad.I KNOW people have to make money but seriously not in this way~it's crap:mad:

Thats right I got some for saturday then DH couldnt go... but my friend had some for the Sunday and they couldnt go either... I got theres so DH can go (hes soooo thrilled!!) and offered mine out....

Restores your faith in human nature until you see people who have obviously ordered the max allowed with no blooming intention of going...

Anyhow I hope those of us going enjoy it and those selling on ebay... well karma... what goes around and all that.

    Hi there,

Just so everyone knows, I had an email from Nickjr saying that because of the weather the show may not go ahead, keep checking http://www.nickjr.co.uk/jumpup07.aspx for updates. There has been a weather warning issued for tomorrow: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ukweather/warnings.shtml
Fingers crossed we can still go, have been talking about this with my little boy and his cousin for weeks now, he'll be so disappointed.

Sorry guys the met office is giving severe weather warnings for manchester tomorrow:
    http://http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/nw/manchester_forecast_weather.html

If its anything like what we've had here in wiltshire today then it not worth thinking about. I hope for all of you looking forward to it that they re-schedule and not just cancel.

Its people that will be travelling a distance that I feel for. I have to say that there isn't really a great deal in that particular area that would be an appropriate substitute if you end up in Wythenshawe and find its not on. I can recommend Antz in your Pants in Broadheath, and theres a Wacky Warehouse in East Didsbury (about 10-15 minute drive away) that is attached to the Bellhouse Pub but I'm guessing both these are going to be heaving. For anybody that knows the area, please be aware that the Mersey Farm Wacky Warehouse in Sale is closed for a refurb.
    Hope this helps someone!
Lets try a bit of positive thinking though!!!!

PS OH has asked me to point out, that anybody planning on visiting Tatton Park tomorrow will need a snorkel and flippers!!!!!
  • I will be gutted if the event is cancelled my little un has been looking forward to this event so much. I live round the Manchester area and it isn't good at the moment. Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous! We have 4 tickets for first thing Sun so I'm hoping and praying!!!

Hay: Hope you little one feels better soon.

kellyd: thanks for offering me your spare ticket :T

dawn21: Hope you can understand where we're coming from regarding the ebay issue. Sure, it's ok for people to make some extra pennies from ebay but this event is for children and by people selling them on ebay for extortionate prices it's only the children who are missing out. I know you have since given tickets to some MSErs on this board and thank you for that.

Anyway, fingers crossed with the weather and have a lovely time everyone who is going! Better luck next year to those who missed out.
And if I really were an angel, I'd float over your bed
Each night a different dream of me I'd plant inside your head
And if I were an angel, I tell you what I'd do
I'd appear in a vision and I'd give my wings to you
