Morning all,
just passing through but catching up on your news.
Camelot hope all goes well with your move despite the garage doors coming off their hinges. Its so cold and windy out there so take care.
All is well with me, doing the usual stuff you know, cleaning, babysitting, cooking etc.
A few Christmas niggles over the Grandkids we don't see. The one Mother of the Grandkids thinks she can just waltz into our lives after 11 years and think its ok to drop huge hints that its our Grandsons birthday soon and comment how skint she is as she had her JSA stopped a few weeks ago for non attendance (she was ill). I did ask if we could see him a few months ago and she ignored my message.
Hubby says if we do it for one 'absent' Grandchild, we will have to do the same for the other two who we never see.
Then theres the palava about Mother....
Its enough to send a grown woman loopy and I'm still looking for to the escape route to it all.:(
Still, ive still ive still got a sense of humour (and its not a manufactured one either) and my health is good so I am still smiling. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Morning
Very windy here and dull. Just washed my extremely filthy car. Love winter but it does make a mess of everything. Hubby was off yesterday and my dog walking friend had Luna and we headed off to Stonehenge. Had a lovely day albeit ruddy freezing. Hubby off today too and is currently wresting with some extendable hedge trimmers. I am about to start tidying up house, put vac round etc.
Tea will be batch cooked cottage pie for kids. Not sure what me and H will have.
Hugs and spoons all round. Stay safe in the winds, wrap up warm x
Camelot eek sounds like the wrong day to be moving, hope it goes well xx
Molly hope you're OK xx

Hi everyone,
Proud mummy alert - DD has won a prestigious award for the Young Spirits Writer of the Year (she's a drinks journalist). She received it yesterday, although we've known about it for a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will be a bit of a stepping stone for her.
Apart from that not a lot is happening and I won't bore you with my dull day.0 -

Congrats Miss Snoozer. Well done!
Just had a phone call from hubby, he's working away next week and possibly till after the new year. He's not happy.
On the other hand, me and 'Youngest' will probably feast on pasta, rice and all the other things he doesn't like. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi all,
Been missing again, bad OSer.I hope everyone is doing ok,but lots of hugs if youre not.
Really wild here, hope the conservatory roof stays on
Well DGS and Dil2b came out of hospital on Sat night after their infections and seem to be ok now. They're all coming for tea but Dil2b will be here shortly with the baby and we're going to go for a quiet coffee, she needs a bit of a boost as DS2 is back at work now and the days are long.
I'm going to make pasta carbonara for tea, something quick as theres not much time to do anything once DGD arrives, though I did make her some playdough at weekend which kept her quiet for 20 mins

Afternoon all
Bit Wild and woolly down here in Kent but nowhere as bad as some poor folk, hope everyone is safe.
Just making Parkin, it smells lovely. For an elderly uncles Xmas present I am making a selection of small cakes, every time I make cake I make him one too and freeze. As 92 there isn't a lot he needs apart from some new knees!
Veg pasta for tea
Take care allCarolbee0 -
Wild and windy here too and it's hail stoning. Dogs won't go out for a wee. Don't blame them. Was going for a nice long walk today but think I,ll give it a miss.
Hope everyone is safe and warm especially you poor things in Scotland. X0 -
Wild and windy here all day but dry up until 15 minutes ago when it started persisting down I got a lot of the washing dry on the line but there is quite a bit that is still wet
so that is on the airer in front of the stove.
Shopping day today and Aldi was rammedtoo many people with big posh cars using it these days
Got my £5 off from last week's Mirror and have the one from the Express today, but it means that we will have to use it on Wednesday next week, only one day early for the weekly shop so it won't be too bad.
DD is really upset even though her company is in big trouble they want to force her to work a month's notice if she gets another job, but if they do go to the wall they only have to give her a week's notice, but when they closed 48 stores earlier this year they just closed the shutters on the same day  I told her if it comes to it, just walk out.
Congrats to Miss snoozer :T
Molly (((((((((Hugs)))))))) I hope that you have kicked the black dog into never never land x x xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Evening all
Despite getting up just after 5 this morning I didn't manage to post, I knocked a glass of water off my bedside table it went in my knicker drawer and filled my shoes, not the start I wanted to my day.
Very busy all day at work, just as well, it stopped me falling asleep.
Molly I hope you are ok, you have been so kind to me.
Scrambled egg for tea & then a snooze til it's time to collect hubby.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0
