In my retirement, I am going to sell my property and move abroad. Once there, I am going to use my property fortune to pay for an 18 year old nurse to look after me.
You may not live to see your retirement! Then your "handed on a plate equity" will be enjoyed by someone else lol :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Christ, every time (and I mean every time) I venture onto a BTL debate, it descends into name calling and argument. Excellent!!

For my part, I think you BTL guys should be horsewhipped and you guys who can't afford a house should get off your lazy !!!!!! and start saving.
There, how's that for seeing both sides of an argument?? :rotfl:Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

We as a (Greedy Brit) race seem to think it's wonderful when we rip of following generations, but an absolute scandal when companies put their prices up even when it's by a lot less than the GBs (see above) up their prices.Arnt we as a race trying to learn from our mistakes and leave the bad things behind and live better, more full filling lives?
"What did you do in the HPI wars grandad?" Eh lad, ah made sure you could experience the Victorian values of being a serf. Ah remember when t'petrol went up 5% we had a blockade, but danced in the streets when we loaded you lot up with an extra 100% of debt.
Ooops, and then interest rates went back up again...0 -
Jealous?...............:rotfl:
Look mate Im a plasterer and earning a massive ammount of money cos I work hard and fast and I'm doing 7 days a week too.
I?
All the plasterer's i have known ( and i have used several over the last few years) turn up about 9:30 and finish about 1:30 to 2 as they cant put any more muck on incase it wont go off.
Even if there is a correction coming it wont go back to far as there are loads of us waiting to increase our BTL's which will push the prices sharply up again0 -
Your post is well.... pointless as its fails to acknowledge any of the REAL issues as to why young people can no longer afford a home.
get real, it has never been easy for 1st buyers. REAL issues are your expensive ipods, designer clothes, latest mobile phones, trendy bottled pop.
You choose what to waste your money on, like i said look at yourself and stop blaming everyone else for you missing the boat0 -
Are you f*ckin stupid?
Maybe I am happily married with 3 loverly children, 5 Houses, take holidays when we want and will be retiring at 60 unless some big kind faceless company pushes houses prices up so high that i can retire at 50
You smoke and drink heavily in pubs, I think you are talking about yourself
F*ck me stiff! this country is even more stupid than I thought! and I had a really low opinion from the start!
You will probably become a stiff even earlier with your bad healthy activities0 -

I had to thank you as you made me laugh before I set off to work... I knew it was the ipod that caused the housing crisis... :rotfl:0
