Ok, I can't control some things in my life but I can control clearing this last bit of debt!

At the moment my debt total stands at £6838.34

Hubby and I sat and worked out a relaxed approach to clearing it in full by sept/oct this year. Based on allowing more money into household and no overtime. We're trying to eliminate as much stress as possible from our lives so figure a slower more sensible approach was in order.

Having said that, I will still do overtime now and again as work calls for it and there's nothing wrong in having a few extra pennies, especially as we don't know for sure how much extra pennies we'll be spending on our dream of having a family. I'm hoping none, that a lovely miracle will happen all on it's own.

So, now we've a plan in place I can concentrate on saving money as we go along, organising our finances more, being frugal and you never know - I may even bring that debt free date forward!

Positive on plan so far, £400 ppi back from egg and put myself down for overtime sat as hubby working so may as well earn some pennies. Not too bad a effort eh?!

Also working on my fitness and general well being. I've neglected it of late with so much going on. Last night I went for short run so feel good for that. Aiming to do some form of exercise today. Healthy eating is a must! Oh and a friend has booked us in for some reiki on Sunday - never had it before and sceptical of such things but now of mindset, nothing ventured nothing gained and it's another step towards being kinder to myself :-)

Have a good day all xxx

    Hey OF,

I'm ok thank you. Hope all is well with you.

Debt busting is going incredibly well - just got some more PPI through. Waiting on cheques to cash but all being well, I shall have just two debts remaining and less than 4k!!!! :-)

It's brilliant to know being completely debt free in a matter of months is now actually possible!!

I found reiki very strange but in a good way. Can't really explain it but I left feeling a lot lighter (not in weight sense). I am trying to go with it and not be sceptical! Lol.
