Hi Choc,
I hope you are okay...not sure if you are currently on your skiing trip. If so I am very jealous. I have never skied before but would like to take the kids when they are a few years older.
Happy- I am so over the moon for you. How amazing to see your little wonder on the screen. You so deserve this and will make a fab mum

Hi Happy,
Not too bad at all. Annoying the really we should have been debt free now but we have been living very well and enjoying having more money now I'm full time. Need to buckle down now though as we could be debt free towards the end of the summer if we work hard

Hi of, I feel like I've missed so much full time and debt free by the summer it sounds wonderful news! I'm in two minds again should I save up and get a nice sum for baby and mat leave and then focus on overpaying finances. I really want to take 12 months off and I will find out how much it will be if I have it all split over 12 months and save accordingly. I just don't know I'm in dilemma street it maybe really simple but sometimes things need a second opinion xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Hey Happy,
How's pregnant life treating you?
If it were me, I would work out how much money you need each month to meet all commitments (debts, house, car etc) and work on ensuring that you have that saved in the bank to cover so you can have 12 months off in full.
Obv some will be made up of maternity pay etc so I say work it out. Make sure you have that saves and some more pennies in the bank for little bits that you may like to do with bubs.
I think that's how i'd do it. Work out my maternity pay and how much extra i'd need to save to ensure bills are met and still haev a little to play with. Once you are off you can jig things about, probably save money here and there etc anyway.
When is due date?

Hi choc, ive actually done some workings out and im aiming to do a lot of unsocial hours to bump mat pay up, ive worked out a couple of averages and it seems we will do ok so I will focus on some overpaying and then put some money in savings. OHs nan has offered to buy some of baby equipment because she really wants to help so that's really nice.
OH should hear about a new job this week more money and company car which should be nice and make a bit of difference to income. I really want to get all negative wealth paid off asap, as you can imagine we would like to move at some point before baby number 2 and we will need 5k minimum for treatment unless I catch on naturally by magic which I have heard can happen after fertility treatment but im not holding my breath so best to plan xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Planning ahead is always a good idea. I've (we've) been thinking a lot about it of late in case we have to pay for treatment. Have appt with fertility specialist on 24th of this month so guess will go from there. Don't even know if we'll get help on nhs or not as i'm 35 (36 this year) and conditions to be accepted have changed recently. We'll see.
I think you'll be just fine and dandy hon - you are focused and you'll make it all work i'm sure

fertility isn't based on age, well its not in my area you should get a free go and then you will probably have 2 eggs back as standard because of been over 35. google the criteria. Fingers crossed you will get your miracle too xxI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES.
