While that may be true, they said in the update post that they told Tesco that they refuse to keep it in the house because it is dangerous.. obviously not so dangerous to keep it in the house for the past 5 months.

Um no.

I switched it on twice, freaked out when it heated up the cable and plug, packed it back up into it's box with all the ties, wires and little plastic bags and left it in a corner until my shift pattern allowed me to take it back to the shop whilst the returns counter was open - daylight hours only, btw.

I work nights and evenings and had to remember to bring the receipt with me.

I haven't bought another heater, I bought a quilted coat from a charity shop.
