Quite a few other firms get this.. i work for an IT consultancy and we get the exact same deal - MS Office 2007 cost me 17.990
-
Don't forget that charities can also get cheap Microsoft software, e.g. MS Office Pro Plus 2007 for £11+VAT, Vista Business Upgrade for £5+VAT etc. See details at http://www.ctxchange.org/ctx/
I can highly recommend this, although you have to buy a minimum of 5 licences (e.g. 3 Office + 2 Vista).

Indeed, pretty much any large organisation which has an enterprise agreement (over 250 computers) has access to a home use program.0 -
Does anyone know if teachers can get it?0

I think there is a similar scheme for teachers - you will probably need a @xxx.ac.uk email addy0

For those of you who aren't Nurses, but would like something similar, look at Open Office - I use it and it saves/reads MS formats, but works much better - IMO.
I have no connection to OpenOffice, just that I like OpenSource(free) software
