Quick update before bed ...Today's MFW action: Small Tilly Tidy - main action will have to wait until Friday when pay for this week's work comes in.
Today's grey cloud: Mr Hbbb's still grotty, poor old thing! He usually goes training on Wednesday nights but has stayed home instead, not like him at all!
Today's silver lining: Magnolia tree has just cottoned onto the sunshine, it's getting ready to burst!
Daily declutter: Two books passed on to a friend = 65 / 365
Today's simple pleasures: Padded up ma hoof (so much so I could only fit foot into ma wellies) and managed to get hounds out for their well-deserved lunchtime walk. Few strange looks in local park as lots of college students were lazing about on the grass in the sunshine, whilst I'm wandering about in wellies! Great to be back into the swing of it!
Clocked up over 7,000 steps today so feeling much better footwise and self-wise, really!
Hope everyone else is getting a bit of sunshine too!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Am hoping to write a little rhyme on the wall before I repaper it, just need to think of something fun and witty (might take me a while2) Smallest dog has started taking his favourite toy up to bed with him at night ... it's so adorable!
It got to the point where I would remind him if he'd forgotten it and he'd run off to find it. If memory serves it was an old shoe, bless him.
 on mammoth blisters, but glad to hear it's healing up quick. The universe seems to like to treat me to mammoth blisters whenever I get a new pair of shoes so I know too well the pain! I once had to phone my mum to pick me up from a bus stop during some epic blister shenanigans once (two 2 inch blisters on each foot! Egads!). I needed three days off as I couldn't walk anywhere. Those ended up being the best shoes I ever had though. :rotfl:smiling postman wearing shorts (don't mean that in a pervy way, I mean just a sign of the changing seasons )!
Hope Mr Hbbb mends up sharpish!
PS. Magnolia tree! :T One of my favouritesa penny picker upper. I LOVE magnolia trees! Saw several on the way to work this morning.
We have a cherry tree at the front of the school that always blooms at the end of January, so we have crocuses and cherry blossom at the same time! Weird!
Glad you've padded the foot and got out, for your own sanity as well as the dogs'.
Hope Mr H mends soon.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Many thanks A*M and P*M (that sounds like I have morning and afternoon friends)! Yes, the magnolia's really getting going and it's just so cheering! Ouch to blister tale P*M, weird how some shoes do that to you and then turn out to be as comfy as slippers.Today's MFW actions: NSD
Today's grey clouds:
1) Mr. Hbbb really struggling - nearly took the day off sick today which hasn't happened in over 6 years!
2) Has passed on his germs, early night just about to happen for the both of us (and not in a Carry On, oo-er missus kind of way, I can assure you)!
3) Boiler has now forgotten how to multi-task, will give us hot water or heating, but not both. Think it's the heating end to be honest as everything's barely luke warm even when the hot water's switched off. Will need to get a man in! *shudders at possible expense looming*Today's silver lining: Sunshine, literally and we have coal, logs and old fence to burn for heating.
Daily declutter: None today, it's been as much as I could do to work, something's gotta give today and that was it!
Today's simple pleasures:
* Cheery banter with postman (and no, not because he was back in his shorts and my floozie dog insisted on licking his knees, the girl has no shame, I tell you);
* Lovely conversation with client who didn't mind me attending her appointment in my wellies as foot playing up again after yesterday's outing.
* Decision to start juicing to up extra fruit and veg to boost my vitamin intake, immune system and energy levels, as ease with which I've caught man-flu and time foot is taking to heal shows that I need to take some action to look after myself. So, I'm taking simple pleasure in prioritising self a little bit (I will of course make juice for he who is also under the weather)!
Will try to catch up with diaries tomorrow / weekend as now I'm off to my pit with a hot water bottle.
Keep well everyone!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Heres a rhyme
If all be true that I do think
There are 5 reasons we should drink.
Good wine, a friend, or being dry
(Or lest we should be by and by)
Or any other reason why!
Not my own.0 -
Get well soon to the Habibiboo houseMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
