We had sky movies free for 2 months to get the wirelss box to conect
Sky box to the wifi.
Now we canceled sky movies within the time frame to avoid paying for it.
But we then had our account restricted for not paying on time.
Sky have continued to supply and charge us for movies and tell us as our acvount was suspendid the 1 months cancelation notice was.needed again . Bbut didnt tell us this when we cleared the bill at the time.
Can we claim our money back for the movies we canceled in april

It all hinges on what the notice period was, and what services were cancelled. Cancelling Movies leaves you with their standard package until you cancel that too.0

We cancelled the movie package and went back to the normal package giving the.more than the 31 days they needed. But due to non payment our services were restricted to freeview channels . About 20 days after we gave notice0

You at that point were in breach of the T's & Cs of your contract and as such the notice given was inadmissable and revoked and when the back payment was cleared notice is again required - you cannot give notice on a suspended account.Neil_dallison wrote: »We cancelled the movie package and went back to the normal package giving the.more than the 31 days they needed. FYI, I got the WiFi box free and I don't get movies, so whoever advised you to follow that path was incorrect.0

Here are the terms and conditions of the free offer from Sky's website;FYI, I got the WiFi box free and I don't get movies, so whoever advised you to follow that path was incorrect.
"Free wireless On Demand connector only available to customers who meet all of the following conditions: 1. Recently received a letter from Sky about obtaining a free wireless connector; 2. Have never connected to On Demand and 3. Have a compatible Sky+HD box. Offer available to UK customers only. Model you receive may be different to the one shown. Subject to availability. One free On Demand connector per household. Offer ends 5 January 2014. On Demand connector £21.95 when sold separately. Self set-up required."

But this was only recently changed, originally the offer was only for those subscribing to Movies on a trial.
Regardless, this won't help the OP whose problems were caused by a failure to pay the bill.0
