That's only £10 a foot Ed, a positive bargainA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

i must come across as thinking i am better/ more intelligent than these people, i'm not, honest ... was just gobsmacked
It's a case of different strokes for different folks. They see it as normal. You see the risks. They'll be right until they're wrong - then they'll be devastatingly wrong and it'll be far too late to do anything about it.i dont know if i want to be here :eek:

No awareness of the fact that if he was paying in £150, he'd end up with something like £350 in his pot, just a strange bit of psychological anchoring on a max contribution.
Best not tell him about inflation...

Hey all,
Sorry I have been MIA, i seemed to have found myself stuck in a vortex of referendum and university.
I got sucked into the referendum and it turns out thinking it finished on the 18th September was in fact a huge mistake, things got even more manic, we basically ate slept and lived independence for several months it was a 24/7 experience often not getting to our beds till after 1 am and back up at 6 am , then when the result came in the focus changed, but if anything intensified. I have finally had to put my foot down with Mr El and say no more, it got to the stage i had one home cooked meal at home in 3 months, not only not good for my waist line but really bad for my bank account and sanity.
I have also been up to my eyes with uni stuff, have done my first placement now and really enjoyed it as well as learned a lot, I have two huge exams in Jan and another in March before going back out to placement.
Anyway, were into December (xmas eve in fact) I have slowed back on indy ref stuff ( thankfully as its mentally draining) I have loads of weight to loose and loads of studying to do, and a mortgage to defeatso i am back for a while, very battered and bruised and emotionally destroyed but I will get there,
In good news though I did pack in the job that has been giving me grief for years, I am now down to one job 0 hours contract but I can work it around my uni so all is good.0 -
Yay to Uni going well and to packing in the horrendous job! (are we allowed to know what they said when you handed your notice in?)Must use my stash up!0

Well they didnt want to let me go so forced me to do some extra shifts, then tried to offer me a different shift contract, then asked me to do relief work ... you know the usual stuff ...
None of which worked, it was time to move on and i have no regrets, the work place however were very shocked by it as i didnt tell them before i left.0
