Ms is my title and 3 Years Replacement Product Care is title of my problem

Dear magpiecottage,
Would you give me some advice without reward, then?
The story of the issue (the case) is bellow:
I was buying an item for £49.99 at Argos and she offered me a guarantee called 3 Years Replacement Product Care for £9,99.
I was not sure if I want it and she said that with this guarantee I can change the product any time if anything happen to it and even if I break it myself and how many times it brakes, so many times I can change it. (The guarantee is for 3 years).
So I bought this guarantee for £9.99 with the product.
I was using the item and it braked fairly early, so I change it, and after it braked again, so I change it again. Later it braked again, so I came to change it, but she said I have to buy new product and pay for new product (again £49,99) and the 3 years guarantee was not used yet!
So I agreed to buy new product (because she was refusing to change the broken one) and again I bought new guarantee for £9.99 to it.
Now I am thinking that it was unfair, but whatever.
After that I was using the product which I bought second time and again it braked, so I changed and again it braked, so she change it for me with a moaning about something that this time it is the last change, however few days later it braked again and I came to change it and she change it again, but she said that in January 2013 she will not change it anymore. (But, guarantee for this product is expiring in January 2016).
Currently this product is broken again, and I have to go there again. I don’t want to be a silly sheep and buying new product with new guarantee when I should be using guarantee until 2016!
So I may need some legal and psychological tactics advice, please, because I am so scared of the Argos-Monster-Witch.
What powerful should I say to get a fast product change without arguing and too much emotional involvement?
The End0 -
Now I have a new plan for you after reading up your cover instead of eating my tea.
The extra warranty you bought only comes into operation after the original guarantee runs out (presumably 12 months?)
So all you need do is present the witch with the bust item and the original receipt, and get it repaired or replaced.
As far as the buy one get 10 policy goes, the assistant looks to have told you lies!
The ts + cs allow one replacement only!
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/StaticDisplay/includeName/replacementCovertandc.htm1. If a replacement is approved, we may (at our option), decide to replace your product with new product of the same or similar make and specification.
2. If we decide to pay you the cost of replacing your product we will provide you
with Argos vouchers to the value of the price you paid for your product.
3. When your product has been replaced under condition 1 or 2 above your plan will
end immediately.
So save claiming off the extra guarantee till after the originbal "free" 12 monbth guarantee expires.0 -
Dear Quentin,
Enjoy your tea and I will be with you shortly.0 -

Dear Quentin
You are still my favorite, but 'Buy one get ten guarantee' is only my attractive user name. It's not name of any existing guarantee. My user name came from my imaginary fantasy.
However thank you for the advice, I hope we are talking about the same guarantee, I paid £9.99 for the 3 years guarantee.

And how many times can I replace it with the first in operation guarantee?
(Do not like to cook simple dishes with one ring until the 23th January.)0 -
I been waiting patiently for you since last Tuesday!
We are talking about the same £9.99 guarantee.
They should keep replacing it (if that's what they choose to do) during the course of the first 12 months (or refund you once).
After the 12 months are up, the £9.99 one comes into force, giving only one replacement according to their ts + cs.
Maybe if you avoid witch and flutter eyelashes at any magpie types behind the counter they will oblige you more than once!!0 -
Dear Quentin
Thank you for waiting for me the hall week and I can ensure you that it is wart it.
You are saying that they should re-place it in the first 12 months when the first guarantee is in operation as many times as may times it is broken? But this is what they don't want.
I don't fully understand what should I do with eyelashes, but is any way how to find out when there will be the teenagers and when only the witches? Does it maybe depends on day time or days of a week or longer period?
Pleas answer if Argos have to re-please the item in the first guarantee period as many times at it brakes.0 -
I might suggest you ask for a refund as clearly this item was not fit for purpose!
Buy a different model/brand and Argos can seek reimbursement from the manufacturer.
I am surprised there has not been a nationwide recall of this hopeless cooking hob!0 -
