Does this mean that you have found and Aldi that uses 5411 ? All Aldi purchases I have made are 5399.
Yes, all my Aldi purchases except for one have been MCC 5411. When I talk to Luma they say Aldi are not included in the 4%. Maybe it depends on the particular store or maybe Wales stores are different from Scotland ones.0 -

. . . because, rather obviously, there isn't 4% cashback if you go to a tube station as they aren't supermarlets or petrol stations!0 -
If you're topping up an Oyster card, couldn't you buy a 3V card from a supermarket, then use that to top up your Oyster online?0

Does anyone know if purchases from Tesco Direct count as Supermarket?
I made a fairly large purchase on Tesco Direct today, and I used Gift Cards purchased in-store to guarantee the 4% cashback, but just wondering if you could pay directly on the Luma card and still generate the cashback, thus avoiding the faff with gift cards?0 -
No. TD comes under 5999 MISCELLANEOUS AND SPECIALTY RETAIL STORES0

Aldi are now showing as 5411 - Grocery Stores, Supermarkets, seems to have coincided with the installation of the new card terminals. :T0

Used the card in Aldi and the transaction is showing as cash back applied.0

Hi,
Just to let you know I used my card at Debenhams by mistake and was surprised when I received my statement to find I had been given cashback for my Debenhams purchase. As I wasn't exoecting cashback for this purchase, it took me over the £225 threshold, but it's worth knowing for future reference.
On the Santander website, Debenhams is found, but I thought that was simply because Santander pays cashback on Department Stores as well as Petrol and Supermarkets.0
