:D
Thank you!!!!! Love you I do!
Am fuming. Tracked my fitbit this morning. Delivered yesterday... erm... nope! So it turns out that royal mail didn't even bother knocking on my door. My skanky neighbour (complete with bottle of beer in his hand this morning and totally off his face) says.. Oh yeah, Amazon Parcel (no, I didn't tell him that it was an amazon parcel, connect the dots) - nah haven't got it. Postman asked me if I would take it in, not yesterday, day before though (nope, that was a SUNDAY!) and I told him not on your life mate, she will kill you if she hears about you doing that. Needless to say my fitbit is probably in the hands of some dealer somewhere by now.
Fuming, have phoned amazon and explained, told them RM need to get a SIGNATURE on tracked deliveries to my place in future and they might want to start an investigation into how so many parcels coming here get lost. meanwhile my fitbit is being delivered to my place of WORK tomorrow.
I am going to be sat on my doorstep from 5pm tonight. Door open. Waiting. If he thinks he is having my iPhone for a 5ers worth of whatever floats his particular boat, he can do one.:mad:

Oh no!!! The issue is with the RM my postman gets my neighbours to sign for mine but puts a card through my door, I also take parcels in for others.
I had a Amazon parcel go astray this weekend which was my nieces birthday present Amazon had it down as delivered, great but not to my flat!!! Got a refund and bought a gift card instead not great service from them at the mo....

Hey W
Nope, no card through the door. I didn't get a knock, or any post whatsoever. They think that it is *safe* to put on my doorstep because it isn't on the main street. If they actually stopped to take in their surroundings, they would realise this is one of the worst places to live in the world and no one trusts their neighbours as far as they could chuck them. I thought that my good deed would soften up next door and make him nicer to me in terms of my parcels not going missing quite so often. As it is, I will never have another Amazon order delivered here again. They will all be sent to work which is a pain and means I don't get things on time because I am only there for 3 days but at least no-one steals anything
iPhone is coming by UK Mail and has a 1 hour delivery slot. My mac was the same and required a signature too. But the amount of delivery drivers who don't even bother to come up the stairs is frightening.
Anyway at least I only have to be in for an hour tonight right across dinner and wind down time with Jellytot so that is fine. We will have the baby gate on the living room locked and the front door open. No way he can say no one was in then. There is a delivery company who have to take a photo of your door and I think it might be them!
My breakfast was fab and filled me upso much so that I am not going anywhere for lunch. Him may come over here but he is beat from work so will come early tomorrow instead to take the Tot to nursery and leave me with a lie in if I so wish. It isn't really a lie in if you get up and get her ready and then just don't have to leave so can go back to bed :rotfl:
Food was... scrambled eggs in butter with saut!ed mushrooms, red pepper and spinach mixed in, with some cubed home cooked ham sprinkled over and a bit of curry powder. It was so filling I didn't eat it all! Mmmm

Oh effing hell Lilt, what a right pain in the !!!!!! I'm not surprised you're fuming.
A few weeks ago I heard someone post something through my letterbox. It was a "we tried to deliver a parcel to you..." card, when the dippy postman didn't even knock on the door!! So I opened the door & shouted after him, saying I was in and why didn't he knock. He just shrugged, the doofus.
Honestly, it appears there aren't enough hours in the day for these delivery drivers. And now that the company has been privatised I can only imagine it getting worse... xxxThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. RAH @ deliveries.
Parcels get full on STOLEN regularly from our block of flats too Lilty.. so does normal post sometimes. even letters, especially cards!!... I hate having stuff sent here actually and like you, I try to have stuff sent to work or another convenient friend when possible as I live in fear of identity theft and my stuff going missing, not long ago LL had a batch of vitamins sent from his US-fam stolen from our post within our own building and I lost some of his xmas presents from amazon that way too.

Oh no. poor you Lilty, really frustrating. I hope it all arrives safely.
I've just ordered a few bits from Amazon over the last week or so and was amazed to see a collection option. I picked up my car charger last week from the post office - went very smoothly (and our local PO is open Sunday's) and am just waiting for my other bits to arrive.

Got my parcel
it was UK Mail not Royal Mail so no cards here. I also had a handy time slot which he was bang in the middle of.
Unfortunately I am stupid stupid, rather than regular stupid and managed to delete all my contacts  so now Facebook is alerted and I keep getting random texts. Some of whom don't include the name of the person sending. Good stuff... :rotfl:
It is very pretty and shiny. And I haven't taken any of the plastic off :rotfl: and I have set it up with my fingerprint. So Jelly hasn't a cat in hells chance! :rotfl:
I caught a little bit of sun todayso lovely out. Took Jelly to the park after nursery for a swing for half an hour and then got her bike out and she rode up and down and up and down the street again
she is really loving it!
Have now set up all my banking apps (all 6) on my new phone and can log in and do stuff on eachgot to wipe the old one and fill it with kids apps
I am crying with laughter at you Lucky... a hedgehog :rotfl:
Love you all lots. Night guys xxx
