    Welcome back Lilty.

Oh thanks for the WB guys :):o:o:o

MeandO really?!? I am glad I am not the only one. I was honestly debating going in and waking her at 5am to take the next dose and see if that would stop her!! You guys are welcome anytime to come to pirate island with us. We have a standing date with Jellys little friend on a Sunday whenever it is sunny apparently :rotfl:

As for racing my mum everywhere, yes indeed. it is the boost she needed and I am more than happy to race her. She is catching me up though!! :rotfl:

Had a nice bath and read a really rubbish book and just heading off to catch up to last weeks UFC with a sneaky piece of 90% cocoa chocolate ;) xxx

I'm afraid so Lilty, it is that sensitive that it sort of 'switches off' as soon as the dose runs out if you know what I mean. I remember, we knew when O had gained weight as it suddenly stopped working and the dose needed to be increased. You'll find, a lot of doctor's will tell you otherwise as they don't seem to know a lot about it (they also swore that baby gaviscon doesn't make them constipated - yeah right). The most helpful advice I had was from a lovely pharmacist who was amazingly helpful and from whom I had the most wonderful advice.

Hope the earlier dose has helped Jelly this morning xx

    Hello there!!

I got up at 4:30am to give Jelly the dose of ranitidine and it worked :j no sick for the first time in what feels like an age!! I would obviously rather not get up at that hour but it sure is easy when I go in and say to her 'Jelly, medicine' and she opens her eyes, pops her dummy out, opens her mouth, takes it and then goes straight back to sleep. Much better that than waking up an hour later in a state of complete panic, throwing the small and her bedding into the shower together while I try and salvage the bedroom and get fresh sheets/towels back on the bed (yes she mainly sleeps on towels) and then getting her ready and back in bed before tackling the bedding and getting it into the machine before finally getting back into bed myself!! Me&O my pharmacist is mega!! He will come out to talk to me, and say things like... 'Well this medicine is not for children under 5. However the dose for an under 5 would be something like a quarter of this tablet a couple of hours before they went out. You could buy it for yourself... Like I said, it isn't for kids under 5.. but it would be fine.' :rotfl:

I am trying to convince myself to go out walking. It is tipping it down with rain and I don't want to go. My alternative is to 'lift heavy things' which in actual facts means me doing crunches bearing a 5kg weight on my chest to improve my core. Or to step up and down the stairs in the building repeatedly. Whilst it would be funny to get like... 75 floors climbed in a day or whatever I think that is a bit weird and my very strange neighbours would be worried... ;)

I've hit 10k steps but feel like I have done nothing all day today. In reality I have had a massive cook off and got hard boiled eggs aplenty, cooked sausages and bacon waiting for snacks, an avocado salad with half a chicken breast and 2 hard boiled eggs packed up for work tomorrow, a giant shepherds pie cooked and waiting for Him, chicken nuggets to go into Jellys lunch pack up in place of raisins tomorrow to try and cut down on fruit acids, and an enormous vat of moroccan chicken soup with red/green peppers and half a leek added in. Its base is my amazing chicken stock from boiling up the bones and leftovers of the 2 roast chicken carcasses - that will feed me for a few nights and means that I don'r have to worry about what Him should cook for me or for himself. Last week I got him 3 ready meals for £6 from Mr S :o

Right. Off to do some nasty crunches, and 10 minutes of Pilates. And maybe some running up and down stairs in my ninja trainers quiet as a mouse. Lovely FGN is popping in if I need her to :D

    Night peeps xxx

    Noooo BILLIE.

I get them repeatedly. I am emailing you! xx

And then as it has stopped raining I am off out for a walk. My stomach muscles are crying. I managed 37 sit ups but then my back started complaining hard! 37 out of 40 isn't bad! xx

    You're nuts.

    Put simply.

    37 sit ups? I think I'd die!

The walk looked lovely too, such lovely scenery to soak in whilst the rain, err, soaked in. I actually love rainy walks on the coast/by the sea when the sky is dark and moody - as long as it's not windy.

Sooooo glad the early dose helped, I thought it would :)
By the way, whilst I remember, if Jelly does end up on Omeprazole as Oscar did, it can bung the poor little things up horrifically whereas ranitidine didn't seem to have that effect. May be worth noting in case it's suggested, with Jelly's problem sin that area already, it may not be good for her poor tummy. Again, the doctor's said it wasn't that, but lo and behold, as soon as I weaned him off it, he was fine. Mummy's know best!!!

    lots of love

Omerprazole can make me constipated so i can assume it has the same effect on children as same bowels just shorter :-)

I totally love you woman. Fountain of knowledge!! For now I am just enjoying the lack of sick/washing. I am hoping it isn't reflux but if I am honest that would be a simple issue compared to some of the things that were thrown about. It doesn't explain a lot, but it keeps the sick down and that/putting weight on are all I am worried about!! :)

I have no stamina Westie :rotfl: and yes I probably am a bit mad. My weeks steps are currently over the 90,000 mark :) it is pushing me to do that little bit more and my body is responding admirably :) less and less painkillers! More endorphins. I have been told that ketosis relieves systemic inflammation and as a vast deal of my spine issues are related to inflammation in the joints the diet may be helping in more ways than I think :)

I have been out for a walk, as Me&O says along the stormy coastline, navigating cliffs and steep steps and hills along the way :) I got rained on and it mattered not one bit. I was safe and warm inside my skiing jacket as was my phone and earphones which meant I was singing away with no-one in sight as I walked along watching the rainstorms head along the coastline :) beautiful. I have since had a lovely shower, put some washing on the radiators and am now settling in with a big glass of water and a book for 10 minutes before lights out.

    Night night all xxx
