I had to go back and read to find out where you got Elvis from :rotfl:
I have a friend.. cough.. sisters ex boyfriend who was in my year at school, more of a frenemy. Anyway. He has a giant tattoo of Ozzy Osbourne on his arm. A giant picture of ooze's face with his hands up praying. Very odd boy. He also has IRON MAIDEN tattooed in big letters. We are far too young to be into all that. :rotfl:
Had some upsetting news this morning. Boss text me and asked if she could call me today. Very formal. Normally her texts are, 'what was the name of that client who wanted you to...' So.. I called her, panicking as it is my annual review tomorrow and had this horrible idea she was going to say don't come in we are sacking you. Only to discover they have made a colleague redundant. Colleague has been with the company for 24 years... Am in shock. She is furniture.. she knows everything. It has come as a tremendous shock to her too. Text her to say I am thinking of her and hope she is ok. She is in bits, which I knew she would be.
Feeling a bit.. meh now. Need to get out of this funk.

Oh that's horible news Lilty, your colleague must be distraught, poor thing.
As for the tattoos, sounds like your sister (and you!) had a lucky escape! :rotfl:The ones of faces are the worst IMO. I find them a bit creepy - to look in the mirror and see someone else staring at you from various body bits... :eek:Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

She is worried she is too past it to get another job as she has been with us for so long and hasn't had an interview in 25 years...
She is 52 this year and I feel very bad for her. My company gets more mercenary year on year.
Agreed on creepy faces. One day Ozzy will be sagging off the side of his arm, looking as old and tired as friend... and he will regret it :rotfl: - my tattoos are on non-stretchy bits that are easy to hide
Found this.. and yes.. this is me.

Oh Lilt your poor colleague
How awful. I worry that a similar thing will happen to my OH. He's been with the company for 21 years and hasn't had one interview since they recruited him. If he got made redundant I think we'd be stuffed
Anyway I'm sending you the biggest hugs.
I have one tattoo. On my bumHaha!!! At least no-one can see it :rotfl: xxx

Hi Lilty, wow I had 8 pages to catch up on!! But spent most of that like this :rotfl: so I'll forgive you all.
Sorry to hear about your colleague, that is harsh. 52 isn't old though and a lot of companies like to hire people with more experience these days so hopefully she'll find something soon. At 30 I'm one of the youngest people in my office - most of them are in their 50s and 60s where I work.
Glad Jelly is better and loved her serious sleep face picture.
I have also been kind of Kondoing - my towels look so much better rolled up and they all fit on the shelves in my airing cupboard now. :j I made DH practice rolling up the towels so he knows how to put them away from now on.The shelf in my wardrobe also looks much better, as do the drawers with t-shirts/summer stuff, pyjamas & underwear. I don't know who I am anymore....:D

Lol sashybo glad you were amused!! :rotfl:
If it makes any sense.. colleague is very.. set in her ways, and lacks confidence to the point that she dithers like the best of them. I am sure she will find a role to suit her. Bar one person, I too am the youngest in my office
I had my towels kondoed for the last few years thanks to my mum! She never knew how trendy she was...
Off to fetch this little beauty and take her to Mr A's to collect all her new clothes!! :T please ignore the state of her coat. It is her *nursery coat* and she uses it to slide everywhere on her tummy.. mummy's little penguin... :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your colleague Lilt. I hope she finds something soon. I also hope your review goes well tomorrow.

Aww Jelly is such a cutie! Love that she slides around on her tummy like a penguin....wonder if I'd get told off for doing that myself?
Hope your colleague is ok, must have been a shock for her. Fingers crossed that your review goes well too. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
