Hope everyone is delurgified now
Do you pay for plastic bags in Englandshire? Mine are all 'my precious' now as each new one would cost 5p so am hoarding the ones we have and stroking them [not weird at all]0 -
TeaPot are you in the Welshland?
yes some are free, some you have to pay for dependant on where you are shopping, Mr L for example you have to purchase a bag, but other supermarkets you get green points for not taking a bag, and places like SmithWH, you get charged 2p per bag....
so hoarding bags is important to some of us :-)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. I have to pay but mainly use reusables. Today I kondoed my tee shirt drawer. It's so much nicer now and I can see which tee shirt is which. I can't do my work suits though as I'm not really in love with any of them but can't wear the clothes I love to work.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. If I threw out all of the things that were bought from necessity and lazy that will do attitudes, not to mention those bought by others who really do not know my tastes at all. And then all of the stuff that was cheap because I had no money and needed something so that I didn't go outside in pyjamas... well I would have absolutely nothing left. So mine must be a work in progress INOD because I cannot afford to do it all at once but something needs doing. A capsule wardrobe of good quality stuff that I love..
I know I said I was going to bed. But I had the most delightful shower after my Gu, and rinsed my hair with cold water then rubbed in some coconut oil instead of conditioner. I smell lovely. I've used my 1% Retinol cream on my face and some blister on my lips and am rubbing in cuticle oil. Fresh pyjamas, fluffy bedsocks. I feel nice.
Problem is I look like a monster, my eyelids are puffy and sore and filled with fluid which is stopping me opening them properly. I have bags full of fluid under my eyes, my cheeks are hamster like, and my lips are excessively plump. I can't swallow properly and I keep biting the left side of my tongue.
Why, you ask? Well.. would anyone like some Marc Jacobs special edition black bottle Daisy perfume? Because I am seriously allergic to something in it.
Overdosed slightly on prescription antihistamines. Nothing with adverse effects, just hopefully will stop me from looking like this in the morning.

I once had a face infection where it all swelled up and I looked like a neanderthal. Not a good look! Fortunately I was a t my mum's and she took me to her practice at 8am on a Sat and by 8.45 Tosco had provided the antibiotics and I knew that if it hadn't started to reverse the spread by Sun night, then I was to go to A&E. Dd wouldn't come near me, and dh made the journey home in record time!
Hope your face is less scary today xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

OMG Lilt, hope your better today! I seriously only go away for a little bit and come back to pages to catch up on.
I totally understand the clothes situation. I de-cluttered my drawers a couple of months ago and got rid of some stuff I really don't wear, and then went back and pulled some more out to ditch and realised I had nothign but comfy fluffy PJs left. Not sure I could walk around all day and outside in my jammies so had to put some back. I have now decided I can buy the odd piece here or there as long as it is good quality and will get worn.
I also relaied one of my faourite band shirts had a hole in it and was most dissappointed as it wasnt that old and was from a gig and official merch..... then I looked at the tour date on the back and it was 12 years ago!!! :rotfl: I then sat and felt old for the rest of the day.
GU cheesecake, gimme gimme gimme..... I've started the dreaded diet today and am beyond hungry right now. My sister is having a 'do' in July to mark her something year wedding anniversary (I know I pay loads of attention and am so utterly thrilled at family events involving this particualr person) and want to look my very best to[STRIKE] shove it in all the family members faces that I'm super and don't give a hoohaa that they don't have the time of day to ask how I am[/STRIKE] look delightful and respectable. I may even choose a respectable outrageous hair colour to boot :j
On the carrier bag front, I have a whole bag of bags and a drawer of bags and a cupboard under the stairs of bags and I'm thinking of standing outside the supermarkets who charge for them with a stall selling them for a cut down price :rotfl:That would pay off my debts in no time.January 2015 - LBM

HarrysMummy I think you might be the sister of my sister... :rotfl: mucho sympathy!! PMSL at the carrier bags. Stand outside Lidl with Sainsburys bags, people will pay MORE than the Lidl bags for them :rotfl:
Guys... Haiii..
So sorry quiet and very quick update. face.. meh. Still look like I've gone 5 rounds with Mr Tyson but less itchy at least.
Spent the morning sleepingafter dropping Jelly off and doing some shopping anyway! She had me up half the night, and turned my alarm off when she stole my phone at 3am to play with in bed. So when I stole it back I didn't realise. So we got up at 8:38am to get to nursery by 9am
And spent the afternoon thus far >insert Levi's update here< :rotfl:
Shiny house. Well.. one room anyway. Off to fetch madam. In laws were coming but MiL has a cold so she isn't going to risk it. So once I have her we shall be popping to fetch some milk because I forgot it on my shopping list. Duh. I did buy 10 bottles of soya milk in Mr L though.
TTYL guys.. between kondoing the wardrobe. I'm going to be fairly ruthless. And then start shopping online. I've got to suck it up. I can't keep going to work in £2 t-shirts that double to clean up in.
