After 12 month of Reg Saver it can go into young saver at 3% or child ISA at 6%, lots of parents do that then after second year they are the bulk in young saver and the circle continues :)

Levi you aren't over the top strict... You are restoring some order to what has been a chaotic few months for him. And setting some boundaries. You're doing the right thing and he idolises you. :)

And some nights I've locked Jelly in her room with a bottle of persil tied to the door and flung over the nearest bit of furniture. And she's fallen asleep on the floor behind the door where I've had to shove the door until it rolls her over, pick her up all covered in tears and comatose, and dump her into bed. Didn't have to do the same thing the next night though ;)

Glad you're avoiding it a bit. Drink Milton. Works wonders :rotfl:

Haha drink Milton! I must have used gallons of that stuff everytime somebody sneezed near me when I got pregnant with dude!!

Seriously I go away for a little bit and have to catch up on 4 pages. Common people... Lol

For the record I am 5ft1 and a half! Do NOT forget the half.

So glad jelly is feeling better. I came up to bed to find dude sat up just staring at the landing. He saw me and put his head straight back down on the pillow and started snoring, what's with that??

I shall catch up more tomorrow and Monday. Hopefully!!

I think that 6% is now down to 4% if that's the H@lifax Junior ISA - and the parent needs to have the adult ISA (at a lowly 1.05%) to get it, or the child be 16 or 17 years old.

Best I can find for JISA is 3.25% with N@tionwide. I've got this dilemma too as DS's 6% Reg Saver finishes when he is 15 and not many kids accounts will allow them to open within the year they turn 16. Complicated ;)

JISA will be better if the parent is giving them enough money to make £100 interest a year to avoid it getting taxed at my rate, which is quite feasible say at £2k x 2 years (I'll be saving hard for DS for Uni so will affect him in another 18 months I suspect).

Halves are very important :D I was 5'7, but like Lilty a bit of shrinkage due to back surgery has me at 5ft 5 and half. Probably shorter now due to age. :rotfl:. DS is expected to reach 6ft 2" to 6ft 4" - par for the course with both families being 6ft or taller. I'm the short one out of all them, picked up a rogue gene somewhere I reckon :rotfl:

Ali!! to DS!! My ex boyfriend was 6ft 4 (and a half...) back in college. I actually had to stand on the steps to get a hug or a kiss... Like you with the telling off :p

Harrysmummy I wasn't that bad when I was pregnant but first sign of a tummy bug and I whip it out :rotfl: same with colds. I don't know quite how I didn't get the gastroenteritis as it seems to have wiped out most of her nursery according to another mum. So I am putting it down to the litre of milton used in a few days.. :D

Sugarpuss I think we are safe... we are probably the only two people around here who do it ;) so shhh!! :D "Back to lurking" ... :rotfl: as you were! Thanks for coming out of hiding!! xx

Decided you all couldn't live without the hair.. :rotfl: she looks so serious about sleeping.. :D

HarrsyMummy by the way... Jelly often opens her eyes and looks straight at me but she seriously has no idea about it. Maybe he heard you coming inches sleep, and sat up to check it was you :) then once satisfied went back to sleep. Heart stopping isn't it... *STEP AWAY SLOWLY!!*

Bedtime. night peeps. Love you all. Midgets included. <3 xx
