Ali - the kids regular saver is up till the day before 16th birthday so can include childs 15th year and runs from the year it was opened so dependent on date when it was opened you may get another year out of it if your son is still 15 when the current one "rate expires" this is relevant to Mr H account as I am not aware of other T&CS...I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. Aww...so cute.
Westie - Thanks. DS will be 16 in the year we'd open the next one (Jan 16 open, he turns 16 in the Sept), so he can only have the current year that will run to next January. It's the Mr H Reg Saver. Shame I was a few months late in doing something about it or we could have squeezed an extra year out of it.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Ah boo... then Ali I have also missed the boat as been meaning to open mine for jelly for yonks and now she will have one year less as she's 3 this year.
..Never mind.. I am going to win the lottery and then we will all be rich and not need to care about how to save the small stuff.. just how to invest the big stuff. I vote property, yachts, and a chocolate factory. Off to mentally wallpaper my downstairs loo & build storage into the hallway walls for my shoes so that they don't mark the Oak flooring...

Lily you can open one for Jelly for the next 12 years....
just open it a month before her birthday so the last one you will open will be the month before 16th birthday which will run for the whole year even though there is a birthday in the year, so will expire month before 17th....
