What makes you love (or hate!) an Advent comp?

Eugh! This is one of my pet hates and this is my first year of advents!! Weight watchers springs to mind :mad: I keep checking thinking I'll click on box 5, oh no I won't because we're not even on bloody box 1 yet :rotfl:

I like little boxes with numbers to click on and reveal a prize

I hate where you have to comment why you deserve the prize and all the dramatic sob stories appear!! :mad:

There's quite a few this year like that, or asking for your funniest festive story or to upload pictures of your family in xmas jumpers etc

Too much effort - don't they realise we've got hundreds of these to enter, plus the main board and dailies.......!!! :rotfl:

i quite agree and its so ridiculous some of the lengths folk go to to win even if the prize is something thats worth very little!

The prize is a piece of clothing, but they don't tell you what size it is. If you go hunting to find out, it's invariably size skinny!

Although I don't really 'do' xmas, I like the more festive advents - in particular the cheesy xmas music on the puma hotels one

Forget which site advent it is but you are required to play to stupid matching card game before your entry can be submitted! When I am playing at 6am I am not amused when it takes a fair few shots to get three mtching! Grrrrrr Does my flippin' nog in, man

It isn't an Advent, but Marie Claire is running a comp to 'Win £166 Worth Of Shiseido Products To Prepare For The Party Season' Great prize BUT the end date is the 6th of Jan, so by the time the prize gets sent out it will be past the party season and into February! So getting a Christmassy prize delivered after the big day is a little disappointing too and it does my flippin nog in, man!

I hate spammy Advent mail - Triumph must have sent me the same email 6 times today with the title 'Thank you for your participation' because I enter their daily Advent! If I won one of their prizes I might forgive them lol!
