Yes - by postGiving, posting to friends abroad, and posting Christmas wishes on faceook. Nothing beats a card on the mantlepiece and coming through the letterbox! Its nice to remind someone you might not have spoken to in months that you're thinking of them at Xmas.0

Yes - by postI make my own cards, and post them all out to family - who generally live over a 100 miles away. Like others I have many elderly relatives, who love getting cards with a handwritten note in. I quite enjoy it though, so it's not the chore it can be for some. The rest of my cards I'll give out by hand as and when I see friends.
I like receiving cards, and as others have said I find Moonpig cards a bit soulless. My one exception is a friend in China who sends them - I recognise that's much easier and cheaper for her, than sending something through the post from China (Moonpig cards are sent from Guernsey.) I'm just glad nobody sends me e-cards! The few I have received were visually horrible, please just send me a text if you want to do things like that.0 -
Yes - by postI will be posting to those who live too far away to see, and to those who it will mean a lot to receiving a card in the post. Rest will be hand delivered.
I'm a hoarder and keep cards from certain people - it's lovely to look back on!
I always end up with left over cards though - these go into a box (box is now huge) and every year I say I'm not buying cards this year, I have loads - and then I walk into paper chase in November..........0 -
No - saying Merry Christmas on facebook etc - it's freeI don't send any and I prefer it if people don't send them to me. I know that sounds grumpy but I hate them, stupid cluttery things which fall over and generally get on my nerves. I tend to open them and mentally thank the person who sent it and then shove it in the recycling bag.
I say merry Christmas on facebook, I email a few people who I won't be seeing and I say Merry Christmas to the people I do see.:A

I might send a few if I find any I can bear to send - The choice in shops round here is utter drek this year! :eek:0

Yes - by postI will be using the BB post for local cards and posting the rest...don't extend the Christmas card list past close family & friends though.0

Yes - by postWell 50p to keep in touch with someone seems worth it - though I was horrified when I totted up all my cards that should have been sent!
I always intend to cut down but then hardly ever can.
Also like receiving them - especially with a little message as well.
Hang then on long ribbons form the ceiling - usually get around 70-80 and they decorate the room nicely on about 6 ribbons.
Posted half now and will see if I get cards from some of the others.
I hand deliver as many as I can.
Get two or three e cards - some are lovely - the Jacquie Lawson ones especially.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
No - saying Merry Christmas on facebook etc - it's freeI'm posting 2 - one to some close friends in skye and one to my aunt who's not well, the only others I'll give are to my immediate family - with friends all over the world I find facebook much more effective
Although for a group of friends that I'm on a charity forum with I made up a wordle for them about things that are associated with the charity and its events and told them that was their Christmas pressie from me - one particular friend who works for said charity was delighted with it! It also means that they can print it off if they want as its a pdf file0
