EE deal from MSE Email 20/11
I spotted this deal in the weekly MSE email and applied for the 4G mobile broadband SIM that night. I received an email to say that I had failed the credit check so I duly wrote off to the Credit Referrals team and have had the decision overturned. The problem I have now is that EE are happy to offer me 2 lines of credit but tell me they have no details of the deal despite the order number and can't honour what I signed up for. I have been through at least 3 departments in 45 minutes on the phone this evening and though they'd love to sell me a phone and tablet contract they can't find what I signed up for. Feels a bit bait and switch to me.
I've been told to contact the 3rd party whom I signed up with and I have done this via the email address listed on the confirmation I received for the Amazon voucher order but I'm not sure what else to do at this point. I feel like I'm going to end up going round in circles with this - has anybody else ordered from this offer and managed to get set up with it?

Anyone? I have contacted Affiliate Window but they have as yet to respond beyond asking me to confirm what I'd already written to them - that was 2 days ago.
As this was an MSE 'Blagged' deal is there contact between MSE and whoever set the promotion up (I'm assuming Affiliate Window on behalf of EE)? I'm just stuck in limbo now!0 -
The deal would have worked the same as other cashback deals such as Quidco and TCB etc and need to be processed totally online.
Sometimes if EE will agree to process the order using the order number you had confirmation of AW will
honor the dealIt's not just about the money0 -
Thanks - so if I understand you right because of EE's mistake my order is now stuck as they don't recognize what the order was for (despite them quoting to me my order and agreement numbers) which in turn invalidates me from the offer as they can't complete the order manually over the phone and they don't provide any method to resolve this online.
I can see this about to leave a sour taste in my mouth going round in circles of bureaucracy.0 -
I don't understand why EE can't see what's on the order but may be worth trying to get them to look again
The other problem is that normal call center staff will have no idea about this offer nor access to the detailsIt's not just about the money0 -
Thanks Silk - mission accomplished!
I called back and was this time put through to the Web Sales team (don't know why I didn't end up there the other day). She has completed the order for me and could see all the details (including the first month free and Amazon vouchers) and told me that now she has done this it will trigger in the systems as validated. I have just now had confirmation that my SIM is on the way.0 -
Good news

Thanks for updatingIt's not just about the money0
