Just an update. My decorator came today. I had the wallpaper He said a pity it was on the blue and not the white/cream/ Firstly he cut a tiny git of the paper and put it on too paper too thick it is an expensive paper In the end he took off the back of paper leaving just very thin tiny little bits He said when it dries out you wont see it It is absolutely perfect so I am delighted He refused to charge me for the repair but he is my regular man. He just decorated my the ensuite bathroom / master bedroom//and just the ceiling in the lounge/ Paid £1290 included paint but not the wallpaper. He is expensive but all tradesmen are expensive in Harrogate
Thank you all for your advice but as I am pretty hopeless so left it to the expert.

Now I have a drip in the kitchen tap needs I reckon a new washer Wish i had a handyman rather than call my plumber. He will do things but has a call out charge any ideas would be appreciated. I have a Daughter and SIL but they are hopeless and are they don't do anything to help me. They say they are too busy so I just don;t ask any more. I never say no to anything they ask me to do enough said!

Ask around your area. I'll be surprised if there isn't someone available who does odd jobs.

If you can't get a personal recommendation, look in the small ads in the local paper.
