Nokia 6288 Vs LG Shine, which is better?

6288 = features not looks - basically usuability like all nokias.

shine = style some features but mainly style. LG make washing machines and fridges what do they know about phones????

If your phone goes in there washing machines by mistake I bet it still works though !! Ha ha, in truthfull reply to the o.p I would always stick with a nokia, lg are not a top brand of phone,although they look good it doesnt always mean the best, looks are not the main thing to look for !!

It just depends what you are after. Personally I would pick the LG shine, simply because the 6288 looks very similar to 6280 and if someone saw you may not realise it's a 6288.

Plus the LG shine looks nice, and I'm a very technically savvy person so usuability is not a problem for me.

I never look for looks in a phone, its held to your ear so nobody sees's it and the rest of its life its in your pocket/or bag, unless you know the borrowers nobody is going to see it in your bag or pocket , o.k if your one of those people who like to show the phone off by putting it on pub tables awaiting comments then yes go for the l.g, but a phone is a phone, take pictures make a video, send a text, features all day long over looks for me.

Thats the norm for me as well. Feature over looks. But not entirely. I would choose the N80 over the N73 because it looks better (and better features). Hence I have an N95 rather than say a Prada.

But given the two choices I would choose LG shine.

2) Your Boyfried/Girlfriend is an O.K looker, its no van Gough but it is everything you have been looking for, reliable,does things for you that you have always wanted,sturdy, long lasting, and wont cost the earth

You will be tempted by number 1, but always remember it never lasts, always go for the safe option !!

Nokia 6288 seems to be leading the way because of usability, is there any body out there who got LG and disoppointed from the functionality point of view.
6288 is straight forward choice due to it brand name Nokia, but if some body is considering LG looks for advice?
