Hi all, sorry I haven't been able to join in but RL has been conspiring against me making overpayments. However I really want to get started so all I could do is round up the mortgage payment to the nearest £100. Will do this next month as well but I really want to be doing much more before the end of the year. I just saw my name in red tonight, oh, the shame!
Well done everyone who is making good progress.

My current pension lump sum value is 72% of my mortgage and during 2014 I expect to pay into my pension enough to add 8% worth or more. 0.66% a month is the current target.
A number wasn't allocated but I'm currently ahead of target, at about 0.83% of mortgage value per month in pension contributions divided by four. Current 25% lump sum value is 79% of mortgage balance.
Parts of my plan receive a big boost in the budget this year, with the plan to let people take out all of the money. If I allow for that I'm already at about 2.7 times the mortgage value in after tax lump sum available.0 -
