    Please can I join?

I would like to pay off BTL Flat. There is roughly around 40K left on mortgage.

Just a reminder to anyone who wants to keep their number from last year and hasn't posted a 2014 target that today is the last day to confirm you want to keep that number. The list in the first post will be updated tomorrow with numbers allocated to all of those who are marked TBC.

The spreadsheet with first overpayments for 2014 will be added to the first post on 3 January so get those posts in to be on the first update of the year. :)
    MFW 2015 #41 = £20,515/£20,515
    MFW 2014 #41 = £26,100/£25,000
    MFW 2013 #41 = £10,000/£10,000
Original MF date = May 2036 - MF achieved on 15 June 2015

Target overpayments for 2014 is £9000. I'm really hoping to be mortgage free by the end of the summer.

Hi OS QS, no you hadn't been missed. Just done the update this morning and you'll see your number and target have been added. :)

Easiest way to check if I've included a post in the latest update is I will add a 'Thanks' to each post that relates to a target or overpayment and then post to confirm when an update has been made to the spreadsheet (or first post on this thread in the case of a new target).

That's all the numbers allocated to those who have signed up already and requests for specific numbers have all been accommodated.

Please keep those 2014 targets coming. The spreadsheet link will be added to the first post in this thread on 3 January with the first updates for those who post overpayments at the start of the new year. :)

As always, any queries please let me know. Thanks.

  • I need some advice as would be keen to remain on the MFW list for 2914 but currently in the process of moving our mortgage to an offset product. In essence I won't be making overpayments but we will be adding each month to our offset savings account.

    Would this count?
    Mortgage when started October 2011 : £94,134

    Total mortgage balance Mar 2016 [STRIKE]£78,417[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£77,523[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£76,181[/STRIKE] £72,001
    Offset Saver account Mar 2016 [STRIKE]£45,238[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£45,666[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£47,593[/STRIKE] £52,093
    Mortgage paying interest on Mar 2016 [STRIKE]£33,179[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£31,859[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£28,588[/STRIKE] £19,907
