Thanks so much to you all for keeping me motivated to finally pay off my mortgage.....(although it is secretly scary, knowing that I've sole responsibility now for my home!).

Wishing everyone the fastest possible journey on their mortgage-free missions!

  • #150 reporting in with my usual £500 OP for September
What goes around comes around.....I hope!
  • No 127 signing in.

It is only £25 extra OP this month, so that makes a total for the year £2,125.

Can I cry? We will not make our MFW target, mind u becoming parents to 2 sproglets, that is an Excellent excuse :)

Also found out we are expecting baby #2 so this might put a halt on major OP's, must keep plodding on ;). Determined to get to 75% LTV in 2 years time so I can get the best rate! xx
    Congratulations:D

no #36 reporting an additional £2.56 to round it up to £305 for the month.

However, my wife had a scan a few weeks back and baby no 2 is on the way! This coupled with an expensive car maintenance bill (service, brake hoses and EGR valve (recycles exhaust into engine) which has been paid on cc, but suspension and 2x tyres still required), plus service and oil leak identification required on 2nd car. Means that there needs to be a temporary hold on OP's. As there also needs to be a nursery fee buffer fund creation..

I'll probably send £15 next month, but if i get a bonus the month after may be able to catch up. Will have to see how it pans out.

Oh and also waiting to hear on a job interview (yes i know only joined this co in march) could be a pay rise, and no different commute (still central london) so will have to wait and see.
    Congratulations and good luck!
