heating / hot water timer - advice needed please
Options
Hi.
My heating / hot water timer is very temperamental. I have an old http://heating.danfoss.co.uk/PCMPDF/102%20Easy%20User%20Guide.pdf
I would like to know please if anyone could recommend a new digital one where I could set it so that I could have the hot water on in the morning and the heating and hot water on in an evening. I think this would also save me money as we often go to bed and forget to switch the timer from hot water and heating to just hot water. We wake up in the morning red hot!!!
Ideally I don't what to have to mess around with anything but taking the old timer off and putting a new one on.
Thanks
I have a back boiler as the house has had very low water pressure only changed a year ago.

Most dual channel timers should do this.
You would probably need to have the heating on for 10 mins in the morning though.
Look at drayton timers on eBay. Eg 522 model would be good to allow different times for weekend.0 -
241 model has the same times all week.
I wouldn't pay more than £25 on eBay.0 -
you say the back boiler was only replaced a year ago, what was it replaced with ? did they do any other alterations to the plumbing ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

Sorry I meant that the water pressure was only sorted out a year ago. We have a back boiler still, not an old one though. Before we moved in 2 years ago it was serviced every year0
