Wow, those are really good prices!!! I have saved them in my watched items on ebay while I think about whether I will really use them. I kind of desperately want some egg moulds though0 -
I ordered egg moulds yesterday! I can't wait to suprise my boys with strange shaped eggs :rotfl:
Is the plastic grass reusable or disposable? I couldn't work out why it would both be plastic and you get 200 pieces...0 -
Doh. My yoghurt pots don't fit in my sandwich boxes. Anyone got any small pots that don't leak or knowwhere to get some? Annoyingly, they fit if the lid is upside down!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Thanks to you pavlov, I've just spent the afternoon googling bento boxes, my boss will be made up tomorrow
Now problem is, just been looking on ebay and it seems that most of the boxes and accessories on there are far to girly for my ds (4yrs) who is currently a superhero and I think that I would be told off for trying to get him to take it to school. I did notice they have a spongebob one on there which is not as traditional looking but may do for my first attempt.
Just wondered if any of you have the same problem and if you found a more macho looking bento anywhere

I too was looking for one for my boy when he starts school, and found them all too girly.
I've got him some lock and lock boxes with dividers in them http://www.lakeland.co.uk/product.aspx/!11217_11218. The dividers don't seal totally, and I know he'll be swinging his power rangers lunch bag about, so I've also got some of the teeny weaning pots from mothercare for runny dips or yoghurt.
My egg moulds finally arrived, and the shaped eggs are really really cool!!!!0 -
I have got my bento boxes and equipment and have failed miserably so far.
In my defence, I have been very, very busyde do-do-do, de dar-dar-dar0 -
The Laptop Lunchboxes are fairly neutral, just bright colours and no pictures/characters on them. They are expensive though, although I do like the fact that you can buy replacement 'bits' if anything goes.0

I've been inspired by this thread - never again will a boring lunch box leave this house!
But, at risk of seeming very dim...:o
Doesn't the cut fruit (apples, bananas etc) go brown if it's prepared in the morning or night before?
People say these things don't get mixed up but is that really the case? Does anyone on here have a child who swings their bags around and couldn't hold it upright if their life depended on it? :rolleyes:0 -
Bestpud, this is what I was thinking, I'm sure my ds will use his lunchbox as a football or summat at some point
I was also wondering about the browning fruit, maybe if it's packed tightly enough it won't go brown? I know when you're doing fruit salad you add lemon to it but you wouldn't do that to eat out of a lunchbox, can anyone let us know what they do please?DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0
