New Sky+ Wifi Box

Got a new Sky box yesterday and note that to watch sky in other rooms through a Magic eye I need to buy a £25 IO Adaptor. has anyone done this and if so...
Does it power more than one other TV or did you have to buy an amplifier to do this?
Can you still watch freeview on one TV / Sky on another?
I don't have or want HD channels, I assume I can just switch back to my old Sky+ box to solve this problem if I so desire? What are the advantages of this new wifi box compared to old box?
Will be phoning Sky on Monday to seek advice, try to resolve, and to try and get the IO adaptor for free - but just wanted some opinion in advance. Thanks

Why did you change the box in the first place?
The box is wifi, so you can get catch up programmes via an interweb.
Its got an improved epg over the old white boxes.
Its HD so you'll get the FTA HD channels without an HD sub.
Assuming the IO box has a loop through for your aerial you'll be able to get the terrestrial broadcasts as well as those from the Sky box. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Thanks, follow most of that.
I moved house and they gave me a free upgrade to the new box0
