Most people will probably be able to tell you goater isn't my biggest fan and nor I his. Sometimes he talks utter crap (that sentiment is probably mutual though) but this, is not one of those times.
The basis of the site may be money saving but its developed into so much more than that. Money saving is not synonymous with "tight b******".
And one could argue that £200 is peanuts compared to legal costs incurred if the mother gets pee'd off and stops him seeing his son. Or worse, starts poisoning him against his dad.
Sometimes, you have to pick your battles because you can't win them all.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
But you said that because I thought £200 was a petty amount of money I had no business being on this forum as it's a moneysaving forum. Ignoring the obvious fact that even rich people can save money the fact is that this board does not offer moneysaving advice. It offers consumer rights advice that anybody can benefit from, not only people who are short of money.
Your problem is that you don't seem to understand that despite the name this website is not just about moneysaving. It covers a whole raft of different topics.
I haven't made any comment on whether this is a forum for rich or poor people, I just said it's for people who want to save money. If you're on a forum dedicated to saving money, £200 is not money you want to part with - whether you are rich OR poor. No. We don't geddit. You seem to have your own agenda/ issues.0

And yet another thread goes off-topic.
My advice would be to give the debt collectors her Bank account details (he could obtain these easily by telling her he needs the details in order to set up direct payments of child maintanence).
That way, the thieving cow would end-up paying-off her own debt.Never Knowingly Understood.
