Moving in January

Hi Guys
We are relocating in January 2014 we are currently with TT (and have no problems... at ALL compared to PN).
The area we are moving to is Helmsley in N Yorks, the Openreach Web Site say taking order, the system is due to go live at 31/12/2013. There appears to be no LLU with TT but I want to take advantage of Fibre rather than standard BB. Its a new house so no line installed. Rang PN yesterday and they tole me to ring back in March!
Anyone had a similar situation and help much appreciated

That exchange has no LLU providers, and with a subscriber base of just 1,358, probably never will have. FTTC will start to be enabled at the exchange on 31/12/13 as you say, but that doesn't mean that it will necessarily be available on the cab serving your property then. It could be 6 months, one or two years later, or never. It purely depends on the demand at that cab.
All you can do is get the line provisioned, take an ADSL service and then upgrade if/when FTTC becomes available. No free lunch, and no free laptop

The other problem with small exchanges is that they often don't have all subscribers on external cabinets -many of the closer houses may be on direct exchange lines - these may never get FTTC!!0
