Agree 100% With coupon, never make any admission in any correspondence to a parking company that can assist them in bringing a court case.
I have seen some people send the parking companies a court case on a plate replies as appeals.
Never admit the PPC is correct or confirm the allegation and appeal as the keeper in defence of liability.

This is called a "defence" and nobody with an ounce of common sense admits to a parking scammer enough information for them to use against you.
Quite a few on here are starting to play the PPC's game for them writing pages of twaddle as appeals when one line is sufficient.
    Be happy...;)

Hi guys, just wanted to say a big thanks for helping me out and giving me a bit of your time, called up the centre manager and had a nice chat, explained what had happened and sure enough he got the PCN cancelled for me and confirmed it with an e-mail!
  • Result then. Well done:)

Just one week ago you were faced with this
    The final notice (dated 28/11/13)
which says that it's my final notice before court proceedings are instigated and I have an opportunity to settle it by paying £125 in full otherwise I will have to pay the original debt plus all associated costs which could exceed £325.00

And with one targeted complaint - boom, got rid of it all, just like that!

Newbies - complaints really work, so work at complaining!

Great result Ryan. Have a super, worry-free Christmas. Really pleased for you!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

My prediction is you can get this cancelled next week by the Centre Manager

    Mystic Coupon strikes again! :)

Seriously, very well done Ryan18, it can be that easy if your Retail Park Manager knows the meaning of customer service - and you obviously chatted politely to him about it which is the best approach when on the phone or in person.

I will add your success now to the Successful complaints sticky thread and this is all behind you now.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
