I have dogs myself so wouldn't worry about the odd dog hair & have no allergies.
I do wish though that people wouldn't send out stuff that smells as though it's been stored in the kitchen with all the associated stinks, far harder to wash the smell of fat out of fabric than the odd dog hair.

I always put smoke and pet free home. I don't have pets and I'm a (very, very) occasional social smoker but I certainly don't smoke in the house. I've sold quite a bit of stuff now but I don't often buy clothes on Ebay - but when I do I look for items from a smoke free home.

I do look for smoke free depending what I'm buying. But pet free wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

I have a cat, but it's rare for anything I sell to be affected by pet fur. If I noticed something did have cat fur on it I wouldn't sell it anyway.

I always put non smoking cat owning home in my listings, but can't say I've ever noticed it's put many people off as I do get very good prices on the majority of items that are fabric.

A seller stating that they own a pet wouldn't put me off at all, but I'd be reluctant to buy something consisting of fabric or such from a smoker.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
