At the moment I connect my Dell D630 laptop to my TV via a DVI cable, the picture is okay but not great like I would if viewing on my laptop or tablet only. Is there a way to improve viewing quality without buying another laptop and using HDMI? I was thing about getting a DVI to HDMI cable but I am not convinced that's going to be any better or this there another box on the market that could work as a solution?

You are viewing a web stream on a tv, the quality is not going to be good, no matter what you do in terms of switching between dvi and hdmi...0

the quality of the stream is different for the output medium. So a web browser based stream will be lower quality than say Virgin or Sky.
The best way to fix the quality issue is to find a good provider for the TV service and subscribe unfortunately.0
