Hi there,
I came across some money and am trying to find something to do with it other than leaving it in a savings account. I don't want to be an idiot and rush into to anything. I came across this website online, basically you buy and container, the loan it to this company who in turn, loan it out to ships etc etc and basically you are supposed to be able to make about 12%pa on it.
Sounds good
Looks simple
So my first thoughts say dodgy and to stay away. I looked on the website for the t&c's and couldn't see a link on there. I was wondering if anyone knows about or has any experience with this company?
thanks
Jordon

No1 if you dont knwo the difference, avoid.
No2, avoid. Scam.0 -
OP, seeing you already fell for onetwotrade (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=63928054&postcount=64), perhaps now is a good time to think before you jump.0

Unfortunately joining onetwo trade was a favour for a friend, still my own fault for not looking into it first. Lesson learnt0

"...supposed to be able to make 12%..."
I am supposed to be able to make custard, but you should see how it turned out last night!I am one of the Dogs of the Index.0 -
use a sieve to get out those lumps lol0

OP - a quck google search for 'pacific tycoon' throws up enough warnings and red flags for any potential investor to avoid them."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Spectator and Man int he street.
Have you been contacted by MSE regarding your posts on this thread?
They say the company mentioned int he thread/scam are wanting my post removed. Did they ask for yours to be removed?0 -
The one about the custard? I'd stick to your guns, that was perfectly good culinary advice and it will stand up in any court of law.0

Wow they are threatening a 2 year old thread? That just draws attention to the issue. And now it has my attention here is a link:

I remember a few threads about these crooks that seem to have disappeared.'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0
