Yes mate it is, it is the one that decides if they do the breath test at the station, the blood and urine went out years ago.
What exactly is the point you are making ?

Do you really think they are going to charge someone with drink driving because some bloke said he "looked" drunk.

The only person in the brown stuff here is the OP

The point I'm making is without the station test or a refusal it's going no where.

What do you think would happen if you failed at the roadside and passed at the station? I'll tell you, nothing.

When did blood and urine go out? It hasn't, ever heard of the Hospital Drink Drive procedure? How do you think they do that?;)

I dont see what any of this has to do with the OP, who appears to be in some kind of state of delusion he is helping police nail a drunk driver when it is about to transpire he had no insurance of his own.

Wake up call is what he will be getting at the police station if he can not get his insurance re-instated.

I just hope he told his new company he had just had his other insurance cancelled, or he can look forward to another surprise in the post when it hits MIDAS.
    Be happy...;)

They probably don't use online insurance providers.

Ok, so they phone every minute?

Lol what, to sit by the PC and check my insurance every minute? Somehow I don't think so. What about those who do not have access to the internet?

So how do you think the rest of us do it? Most people seem to be up to speed with their insurance status without having to "check every few minutes". I have said previously it is ultimately the driver's responsibility to make sure he/she has adequate insurance.

I would expect that most people who be aware of any payment issues which could potentially effect their cover. When I said this earlier on you said "clearly not". Only you (and your insurers) know the circumstances of your premium payments.

I also said that if your insurers were at fault in revoking your cover, then there should be no reason for them to sort it out (if necessary) with the police. Also, they may like to treat your claim with some urgency following their incompetence.

You can take this advice or you can carry on with this absolute stupidity about this "drunk" driver and see who ends up in the dock at court.

Stupidty about what? I merely mentioned that it played a fact in the event, what the police or insurance company decide to do with this information is up to them...my concern at the moment is my vehicle and licence. His drink driving is not the centre of my arguemnt, just a mere fact.

As stated before, regardless of what happens with the police I'm sending my claim letter tomorrow morning via recorded delivery. The police can do as they please as I'm very happy to get up in front of a court amongst real legal professionals, not the monkeys who 'try' to enforce it.

Sorry if this insults any officers who come across the forum, but thats how I see you. As stated in an earlier post, I did want to become one myself and did my year 10 work experince with West Midlands Police.

I'm sure any officers reading this will be gutted that a bloke who can't even manage to keep his insurance in order thinks they're 'monkeys'

And I had (have, its still have it in my possession ) an insurance certifcate stating that I was insured from the 23 November 2013 - 22 December 2013, therefore, I had no reason to doubt that my policy wasn't valid after 9:45am on 28/11/13.

Funny, because everything else in my life is in order. :) At the end of the day, they stopped my insurance dead, they could of called or mailed to inform me of the problem or even their plans. Also, if the insurers were having trouble receiving payment then why can't they tell me...maybe I could have sorted it for them.

Did you receive any letters or emails prior to the cancellation regarding the payment issues?

Were the payment issues your bank returning the Direct Debit due to insufficient funds?
