For the sleeping and mood you may find a SAD lamp will help (helped me). As for the noise, sounds silly I guess but perhaps you could look at a house share somewhere else.
I suffer with depression and am incredibly sensitive to noise so I do sympathise with you. Might be worth giving the job a go though. At the very least go to the interview - it will be good practice. You may also find that they may offer you a day shift if you really impress.0 -
In my opinion I do believe you're being too fussy. 'I can't do this, that or the other' because of XYZ. Well in actual fact, it appears you're an able person, who is capable to fulfill a role.Plenty of people would give their right hand to have this opportunity, but you're P*ssing it in the wind because you're telling yourself 'I can't'.
Go to the job interview, if you get the job go for it, give it 3 weeks. You can work for 3 weeks - if it doesn't work out and you get unwell. Do a rapid re-claim.
As a person with mental health difficulties, I work 3 days a week and I find getting out of the house alleviates my problems sufficiently. I enjoy going to work, even though it's something I don't want to do and I have to go when I feel unwell/dog tired etc, yet I still push myself to go in, call it self-respect. Rather be contributing to society than laying in my pit all day.0
