Do you always lose toilet facilites on a bathroom refurb?

Just occasionally I'm really glad to have a fully functional outside loo in addition to the indoor one - especially with it being on a completely separate supply to the rest of the property - I can turn the supply to the house off at the meter and still use the loo or fill the kettle from the outside tap :-)0
