Had a total melt down last night as DS is off on his school trip today and I couldn't find his swiss francs anywhere, between us all we stripped the house, emptied all the bins and even checked the fridge and freezer and they are nowhere to be found was £50 worth and I couldn't afford to replace them plus wasn't sure I could actually get them without preordering them :eek: One very upset young man on my hands and me in tears on the phone to my mum.
My lovely lovely daddy told me not to worry, rang round different travel money places in the area and found one that had some coming in today and left me £50 on the side to pay for them :kisses3: he really is my hero

What a lovely dad jakes-mum, aren't they the best! I can't believe that you would have thrown them out so I'm sure at some point they will reappear just as fast as they vanished. Hope your ds has a fabulous time, I can understand why he would have been upset last night - bless him.

Thanks again folks. Problem is I keep going to my doctors/out of hours/hospital and they all rush about thinking I have appendicitis then decide there's nothing wrong with me. I told them codeine was making me feel worse but they keep giving it to me. Fed up because I've ran out of sick days at work and I'm still in agony. You'd think with me saying I've got stomach and groin pain and a history of gallstones and cysts in the family they'd think of those, but no.

Managed to re-save the money I took out though which is a plus.

Thanks for your lovely kind words Meowhouse - I am plodding away slowly - another £3.50 potted tonight - went out for a meal with friends and chose for my pudding - a coffee and mini pudding - cost the same price as the pudding I was going to order and came with a choice of coffee so ....... potted the cost of the coffee. I didn't dare tell my friends that I couldn't wait to get home to pot the difference - they already think I'm mad (but I take that as a compliment!!!).

Why is it on a morning when I can have a lie in for a bit my eyes go ping and I'm wide awake! Yep 5.15am this morning......
